Zoho CRM Data Migration & Custom Enquiry Module

As part of Taylor Movers’ transition from their old system to Zoho CRM, I was responsible for data migration and structuring to ensure continuity and data integrity.

Key contributions:

• Facilitator & Leadsource Migration – Migrated records stored in Google Sheets. Cleaned the data and used phone numbers to link facilitators with their lead sources, removing duplicates.

• Sales Data Migration – Extracted client enquiry and survey records from the old system database, cleaned and formatted them, then imported them into Zoho CRM.

• Contacts & Accounts Linking – Ensured that historical enquiries were properly linked to accounts and contacts.

• Custom Enquiry Module – Built a dedicated module for historical enquiries, as Taylor Movers wanted fresh deals to start new while preserving history.

• Automation Function – On record creation, the system checks if the phone number or email already exists in Accounts or Contacts:

  • If not, a new account/contact is created.

  • If yes, the enquiry is linked to the existing record, and the related history is displayed.

This migration allowed Taylor Movers to have clean, structured CRM data with historical context while keeping the sales pipeline fresh for new deals.
